McCambridges of Galway were very popular winners of the Galway Chamber Business Awards 2015 in association with Shannon Airport presented on Saturday night at a Gala Ball in the Salthill Hotel.
Receiving a standing ovation while accepting the award from CEO of Shannon Airport Neil Pakey, main sponsor, Natalie McCambridge praised her team at McCambridges for the win and said that they are the reason the business continues to grow and prosper.
President of Galway Chamber Frank Greene said that McCambridges epitomises what the Galway Chamber Business Awards are all about.
‘The theme of the Awards is Innovation and Creativity’ and I think that McCambridges is a perfect example of a business that continues to reinvent and recreate itself to remain a leader in the marketplace. I wish Natalie McCambridge and her team every success into the future’, he said.
At the event fifteen finalists were presented with Certificates, five finalists were category winners and of these five, one overall winner was chosen.
On the night a special President’s Award, sponsored by the Port of Galway was given to John Moloney, recently retired General Manager of Galway Racecourse for his outstanding contribution to the business life of Galway. The Award was received by Peter Allen, Vice Chairman of the Galway Race Committee, on John’s behalf.

Best Customer Service sponsored by Bank of Ireland was given to Eyre Square Dental represented by Paula McDermott
Promoting Galway sponsored by Galway City Council was given to Music for Galway represented by Anna Lardi Fogarty
At the event the guests were addressed by President of Galway Chamber Frank Greene, CEO of Shannon Airport Neil Pakey and the after dinner speaker was Director of Ireland 2016 John Concannon.
