Refund, return and cancellation
Events & Training
Full delegate payment must be received prior to attendance at Galway Chamber of Commerce events. We reserve the right to refuse admission if payment has not been received prior to the event. Any booking amendments or cancellations must be made in writing.
Cancellations received within five days of an event will not be entitled to a refund/credit. If you book a chargeable event but do not attend, you will not be entitled to transfer your booking or to a refund.
Delegates may be photographed at our events. By registering to attend, delegates consent for Galway Chamber of Commerce Group to use any photographs taken in future marketing collateral. We are not liable for any personal property at an event. It may be necessary for reasons beyond our control to change the date, time, venue, content and speakers. If this event is cancelled we will transfer your booking to a similar event or issue a refund for monies paid but disclaim any further liability.
Only companies that have registered and paid for MeetWest will be able to access the online system, which contains information about all registered MeetWest participants and allows participants to select meetings with other companies. Refunds will only be made to companies that cancel their booking during the registration phase, prior to accessing the online system. Cancellations and refunds cannot be accepted once your company has created an online profile or accessed the online catalogue of participants.
All online export documentation services must be paid for in full in advance. All applications for export documentation approval are deemed to be final applications therefore full payment is required in advance. No refund will be issued for applications submitted in error, with errors or subsequently voided. All blank certificates of origin issued to you are official documents assigned with a unique identifier number. We can not accept returns of unused certificates of origin.
Membership of Galway Chamber of Commerce is based on payment of a yearly subscription. You may cancel your membership at any stage however you must do so in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once a member has been ratified by the Chamber Council, we are unable to issue a refund for subscriptions paid. In the event that an application to join the chamber has been rejected by the council, a full refund will be issued to the applicant.
Conference Room Hire
Payment for the hire of the chamber conference room is required in full in advance. This includes the hire of the room and all AV and Food/Beverage requirements. Cancellation of a room booking must be made in writing 5 days in advance of the date of the scheduled room hire date. Room hire cancellations received in advance of 5 days of the event, will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the room hire rate. Cancellations received within 5 days of the event, will be charged the full room hire rate.
Payment for use of our mailout marketing service is required in advance. Confirmation of your mailout marketing booking will be issued to you at the time of booking. In the event that you wish to cancel the mailout marketing booking, please do so in writing to email@example.com . Mailout Bookings can be cancelled up to 5 days in advance of the scheduled mailout date as agreed with Galway Chamber of Commerce. A cancellation fee of 10% of the cost of the mailout service will be retained by Galway Chamber of Commerce.
